Palomar College - Learning for Success
Student Learning Outcomes and Assessment
Welcome to the Palomar College
Student Learning Outcomes and Assessment Website

The responsibility of the Student Learning Outcomes Council centers primarily on identifying, assessing, and evaluating student learning outcomes at the course, program, and institutional levels at Palomar College. The Council, composed of a broad representation of faculty, staff, and administrators, is here to assist with the planning processes related to student learning outcomes. We also acknowledge faculty and staff as the experts who will best guide their disciplines through these processes.

Here you will find a variety of resources, including ideas and examples for writing SLOs, assessment models, and professional development and training opportunities. Palomar College faculty and staff can also log into Blackboard for more resources and assistance (use your PC e-mail username and password).
