About the show.... Oldies and Oddities is a radio program that looks to put a smile on your face. We present a wide variety of music on our show ranging from the classic comedy records to unknown tapes of people singing found in the bins of thrift stores to music that's beyond comprehension. From time to time we feature interviews with some of the artists we play and have special guest hosts spinning their own tunes. Think of the show as a cheap musical museum as we display our artifacts that we find at garage sales, thrift stores, and other unknown parts of the space-time continuum. Pop some popcorn, stay home, and join
us as we dust off some old records on Oldies and Oddities.

ABOUT
ZEB... Sheriff Zeb is the General Manager of KKSM and faculty at Palomar College, he has hosted Oldies and Oddities from 1999-2005. The show manifested after Zeb spent his childhood years listening to Dr. Demento and Wolfman Jack. An Oceanside native, Zeb has ran for City Council at the age of 19, ate everything on the menu at George Burgers, saw a different movie every day in a public theatre from January to August of 2004, killed the infamous rat Mr. Jingles, laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, trekked across Africa on a camel, got kicked out of Libya after 10 minutes in the country, was live at Budokan, climbed Mt. Fuji, was chased by cops in Egypt, and rode in an elevator with the Prime Minister of Japan. He also remembers the good ole days of Gemco, Showbiz Pizza and Pioneer Chicken. He also shot a man in Reno....just to back up his claim "Who'd I'd have to shoot to get some service here?" |
