楽曲制作始めたきっかけは何ですか？
もともと皿回しのほうのDJをやっていたのですが 一番楽しかったのがクラブプレイではなくてインストやアカペラをミックスする作業でした。それなら 自分でトラックを作ってメロディを作って歌いれして、という曲作りからやってしまえば一番楽しいのではないか、と思ったのがきっかけです She started this
business as a club DJ, but the most enjoyment for her was mixing music
with Insto and acapella. As a result, she realized enjoyment of making
music.
ｌeccaの個性的なスタイルとサウンドについて。曲を作る際に決めていることや、ポリシーはありますか？
音に関しては常に自由であること。固定観念やジャンルにしばられないこと。そしてリリックに関しては人に勇気やパワーを与えるような言霊を使いたいので 前向きな言葉を使うように心がけること。かといって後ろ向きな現実を歌わないということではなく そういうダークサイドを含めても現実を上向きにしてゆくアイデアを探して歌にするのが好きです For sound, her style
is being free. That is, she does not focus on one genre or stereotypes.
For lyrics, she always tries to write something positive to give brave
or energy to people. However, that does not mean that she does not write
aspect of negative reality. She likes to put something reality on your
song to make bad reality positive.

現在は、九月から初のワンマンツアーが始まるので その準備がはじまっています。 She is preparing for
first one man tours which are going to be taken place in this September.
leccaの音楽、スタイルに影響を与えて
いるものはなんですか？
とにかくもともと好きだったのがmary
j bligeの楽曲 スタイル、彼女がつらく落ち込んでも最後には自分を立ち上がらせて前に進むそんなリリックを歌っているのに憧れて私も同じように悩める女の子の力になりたいと思ってはじめました。そしてludicrousの社会性と遊び感覚が大好きで 彼のようにいま社会で起きている現実的な問題に音楽で語りかけることの重要性はいまもいつも感じています。それなのに積極くさくないのは彼のバランス感覚のよさと ラジオディージェイの経験かしら？だいすきで相当影響うけております。
Her favorite artist is Mary j bilge because Lecca likes Mary j Blige’s
music and style.
Mary j bilge’s lyrics which makes Mary
j Blige go forward has made Lecca to want to motivate girls who are
worried with Lecca’s song.
Also, Lecca loves Ludicrous’s
style which is using society view and his enjoyment. Lecca thinks what
ludicrous sing about the real problem which faces us now is really
important. Lecca thinks that even though ludicrous sings about the real
problem which faces us now, he is not impudent because of his balance
with his style and his experiences when he was radio DJ. Lecca has been
influences by ludicrous a lot.
音楽はここ３０年で劇的に変化してきたと思うのですが、昔と今、leccaさんは音楽シーンの変化を感じることはありますか？
音楽そのものは常にビジネスと密着に結びついているのでその流行のはやりすたりが早かったり、というのは今のデジタル社会ではしかたが無いことだとは思います。去年全盛のエレクトロも今年後期からは落ち着いて次は90年代回帰だとかなんとか いろいろ言われますが大事なのは音楽を作るつくり手のハート。人を勇気づけよう、人と一緒によくなっていこうという基本のマインド。これがない音楽が増えることだけは阻止しなければならないので、音楽というのは私の人生を通しての模索であり遊びであり闘いでもあります。それだけパワーを持っているものだというのは間違いないので シーンがいくら変化しようと、自分の初心や信念というのは変わることはありません。 Music is always with
business, so the trend changes fast that cannot be helped because of
current digital society. Electro music was very popular last year, but
it is getting not popular from second half of this year, and some people
think that 90s music will be popular. While people follow like that
trends, Lecca thinks the most important thing is song writer’s heart
which is basic idea for music world. The mind that song writers make
people brave and positive is very important. Music is seeking,
enjoyment, and fighting for Lecca thorough her life to make good songs
which have heart.
She is sure to put her heart into her songs, so her original intention
and belief never change no matter music trends change.

一緒に踊って、一緒に歌って、一緒に笑って、一緒に泣いて ときにはじっとそこでただ聞いていてもらって。魂の奥にふりつもった塵を吹き飛ばせるような、来たひとが五感を使って元気になれるようなそんなライブをしていきたいと思っています。 Lecca wants to make
stages that audiences can dance, sing, smile, cry, and sometimes be
serious. Lecca wants to make audiences fine with their five senses as if
drive all care away.
ファンはｌeccaさんにとってどんな存在ですか？
いつも見守って意見をくれたり励ましてくれたりする家族のような存在です。
Her fans are like her family who always give advice and encourage her.
ライブでファンに人気の曲は何だと思いますか？その曲の制作エピソードを教えてください。
「For
you」 かアルバム「BIG POPPER」に収録されている「ミソ－gal」です 前者は自分のレギュラーラジオ番組のなかでファンのひとから体験談を送ってもらってそれをもとにして歌詞を書いて曲にする、というやり方で生まれた特殊な曲です。後者は同じ30歳のコーラスメンバーの女の子に「三十路の曲を書いて」と言われて書いた曲です。これはアメリカでは理解されない感覚の曲だと思います。 日本みたいに年齢気にしないだろうから。 ‘’For You’’ or ‘’Miso-gal’’which
is in her album, BIG POPPER. ‘’For You’’ is based
on her fan’s experience. It was rare case that her fan told her fan’s
experience to Lecca in her Lecca’s radio show to make Lecca’s song For ‘’Miso-gal,’’Lecca
made this song for one of the 30s ladies in her chorus member. The lady
asked Lecca to write about people who are 30 years old. This song is
hard for Americans to understand because Lecca assumes that Americans do
not care about getting older.
心に残るライブについて教えてください。
四月にやった初めてのワンマンは 全国からleccaファンが集まってくれたので 涙が流れてしまいそうなくらい楽しくて思い出に残るライブでした。
