Ever wanted to have a career in radio and television but don't know where to start? Palomar Community College is your place to help you achieve the radio career you always wanted. Here are some of the classes that are offered:

RTV 100 - Intro to Radio and Television A survey of American broadcasting, its development, impact and influence on our society; basic principles, mass communication theory, station operation programming, advertising, rating services, cable television, regulation, and censorship; in-depth analysis of current issues and developments.

RTV 130 - Radio Production. Want to be part of the KKSM team? Then enroll now in RTV 130 and be on your way to joining one of the #1 College Radio stations in all of Southern California. RTV 130 is required for an AA degree or certificate in RTV.

RTV 180 - Sports Broadcasting. Do you listen to sports radio? Are you a diehard sports fan with something to say? Enroll now in RTV 180 and be part of the KKSM Sports Team. Call games and star (as well as produce) our weekly sports talk show "The Starting Lineup".

RTV 240 - TV News Students produce three live to tape and one live cablecast half-hour newscasts. The focus is news of the Palomar College. The show is titled "Primetime Palomar"
