Broadcasting live from Palomar College - KKSM 1320 AM

KKSM is a 500 watt station that broadcasts 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from the Palomar College campus in San Marcos, California at 1320AM on the dial, simulcasting on Cox Digital Cable Channel 957, and worldwide on the web!

Our primary format is alternative music, however we do have specialty shows with various formats from Latin jazz to oldies to heavy metal to country. KKSM also broadcasts LIVE Palomar College football games.

KKSM 1320 AM is a student operated station with students filling the positions of show hosts, newscasters, reporters, and sportscasters. Students also learn management skills as they become the station's Program Director, Music Director, Production Manager, Promotion Director, PSA Director, News Director, and Sales Associates.

KKSM broadcasts on AM 1320 from Oceanside, CA. You should be able to pick up our signal from San Juan Capistrano in the North to La Jolla in the South and from the coastline in the West to the I-15 in the East.
