International Student Tuition and Fees
  All international students are required to take at least 12 units per semester.  The tuition and fees are as follows:

(effective Summer 2014)

Basic Fees:  
Tuition $251 per unit for international students (*)
Health Services Fee $19.00 per semester
Student Center Fee $1.00 per unit (up to $10/academic year)
Student Activity Card Fee $15.00 per semester
Student Representation Fee $1.00 per semester
Parking Fee $40.00 per semester (if you have a car)
Estimated expenses for one year (9 months, 2 semesters, based on 12 units) are:
Living Expenses $9,100 (based on average Homestay prices)
Tuition and Fees $6,320 (2 semesters)
Accident/Sickness Insurance and Books $1,800 (approximately, 2 semesters)

  Plan on a minimum budget of at least $17,200(*) U.S. for each year of attendance

No dormitories or student housing is available on campus. Many apartments are located near the college in San Marcos as well as the nearby communities. Homestay referrals are available through a community organization.  There are a couple of   organizations which help international students find American host families:

Accident/Sickness Insurance

All international students are required have sickness and accident insurance while attending Palomar College.  The Office of International Education carries information about an Accident/Sickness policy designed especially for international students.
