Health Examination
 
To attend Palomar College as an international student, you are required to have a Tuberculosis (TB) skin test. If the result is positive, you need to have a chest X-ray. Please mail the result of the exam signed by your physician.

       The following are the application documents you must submit by mail to the Palomar College International Student Office.  An application package that lacks any of the following documents, without prior approval, will not be considered for admission.

 
   Palomar College International Student Application:  completely filled out and signed (Application Form)
   Passport size photo
   Official Bank Statement (in English) - $16,100 minimum from within the last 6 months
   Statement of Support form  - completely filled out and signed by financial sponsor (Statement of Support Form)
   TOEFL score report - original and official from within 2 years, 470 (paper-based) , 150 (computer based), or 47 (Internet based) minimum
   Official transcripts in English from all schools including high school, colleges, universities and intensive English schools
   Letter of Recommendation from an instructor at your current or last school (high school or university)
   A brief autobiographical essay
   Health report showing a negative Tuberculosis skin test result, or negative chest x-ray, from within 3 years
 
          Students transferring from language programs, colleges or universities in the U.S. must also submit the following documents:
 
  Verification of full-time status and transfer eligibility (Transfer Eligibility Form)
   Photocopy of your visa and I-94 card
   Photocopies of all I-20 forms ever issued to you
 

  All documents submitted for application purposes become the property of Palomar College and will not be returned or copied.

 *  Due to the visa application process at the U.S. Embassies and consulates, overseas applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible.
