Each applicant is required to submit the following documents to the Palomar
College Office of International Education before the application deadline date.
All documents must be in original,
official form and in English.
An application package that lacks any of the following documents, without prior
approval, will not be considered for admission:
- A completed
Palomar
College International Student Application Form
- One passport size photo
- Autobiographical Essay
(1-2 pages, typed)
- Financial Statement (equivalent to minimum US$16,100, no older than 6
months,
must be in original, official form and be in English - internet printouts will
not be accepted)
- Affidavit of Support (signed by
the financial sponsor)
- Proof of English proficiency
- Proof of High School Graduation
- Official, original transcripts, in English of all schools attended
including high school, colleges, universities (and any intensive English
programs in the US)
If you are transferring from another U.S. institution, you
must also submit the following :

Transfer Eligibility Form, completed by the designated
school official at your current school
- Photocopy of your current visa
- Photocopy of your I-94 card
- Photocopy of all the I-20 forms ever issued to you
- Photocopy of your passport ID page
If you are currently in the US on a non-immigrant visa, please
include photocopies of your I-94 card, current visa, and passport.
PLEASE NOTE:
All items must be received by the application deadline date.
Applications missing any items will be considered incomplete and held
over for the following semester. All
documents used for application purposes become the property of Palomar College
and will not be copied or returned.
All applicants to the Palomar College
International Student Program must fulfill one of the following
requirements:
18 years of age or proof of high school graduation in their own
country - or
16 years over with proof of high school graduation and local
guardian in the San Diego are (parent or guardian signature on K-12 form
required
All students, at the time of registration, will be required
to present proof of valid accident/sickness insurance. This may be
purchased through the Office of International Education during
orientation.
All documents used for application purposes must be in original,
official form and be in English. Please note that certain documents have
a time limitation.
