Borrego Springs:  Palomar College is currently seeking qualified part-time instructors to teach Counseling, History and Psychology classes in Borrego Springs. Classes will be offered in the late afternoon (approximately 3:00 – 5:40 pm).

The minimum qualifications for each discipline are as follows:

Counseling: Master’s in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, or career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family and child counseling, OR the equivalent.

History: Master’s in history OR Bachelor’s in history AND Master’s in political science, humanities, geography, area studies, women’s studies, social science, or ethnic studies OR the equivalent.

Psychology: Master’s in psychology OR Bachelor’s in psychology AND Master’s in counseling, sociology, statistics, neuroscience, or social work OR the equivalent.
