Automotive Technology:
The Trades & Industry
department needs a part-time instructor to teach AT 135 -
Front End Alignment and Wheel Service. Course will
meet on Tuesdays
from 11:00 am - 2:50 pm and Thursdays from 11:00 am - 12:50
pm.
Minimum qualifications: any Bachelor's degree and two
years of experience in the field, OR any Associate's
degree and six years of experience in the field, OR
the equivalent; ASE certification in suspension systems is

Child Development Center Teacher: A qualified
temporary/substitute Teacher is needed to teach children in
the afternoons at the Palomar College Child Development
Center. Minimum
qualifications:
24 units in ECE or CD including core
courses and 16 GE units, OR an Associate's degree or
higher in ECE or CD with three units of supervised field
experience. Preferred qualifications: two years
of experience as a Teacher in a Child Development classroom
working with toddlers.

The Dental Assisting department seeks

Laboratory Class -
Candidates must have ALL of the following qualifications:
1. A Bachelor's degree and two years
occupation occupational experience with the application of
four-handed dentistry principles, either as a dental
assistant or working with a chairside assistant experience
OR an associate's degree with six years experience.
2. Current valid California license as a Registered Dental
Assistant, Registered Dental Hygienist, or Dentist.
3. Current Certified Dental Assistant (DANB).
4. Current valid Coronal Polishing Certificate.
5. Current valid California Dental Radiation Safety
Certificate.
6. Current CPR (Basic C) Certification for Health Care
Providers.
Lecture (Didactic) Course - Candidates must have ALL

Nursing (Lecture):
Part-time instructors who are
knowledgeable about the Nursing Process and Care Plans are
needed to teach several lecture courses in the Nursing
Education department during the Fall and Spring semesters.
Instructors will teach 2-6 hours during 1-2 days per week.
A Master's degree in a health-related field is required; a
Master's degree in Nursing and previous teaching experience
are preferred.
