Departments are responsible for choosing who
they wish to hire as a Short-Term or Student employee. Human
Resource Services will then process the employment paperwork
and ensure that the employee meets the hiring requirements.
Departments are responsible for downloading and
completing the Short-Term or Student Employment Action Form
prior to sending the employee to Human Resources.
*Short-Term employment packets are
available in the Human Resource Services office; however,
departments are responsible for downloading Student
employment packets.
Any change to Short-Term or Student employees
regarding combination code changes and/or pay rate changes
require two levels of signatures.
Regulations mandate that the Governing Board approves short-term hires prior to starting employment
unless the appropriate Vice President approves the prior
start date.
