PPO Prescription Drug Plan Changes: The PPO prescription drug plan has changed for maintenance medications (such as those for diabetes or high blood pressure).  The plan will only cover maintenance medications if ordered through Express Scripts' mail order pharmacy. Express Scripts can assist employees in changing their maintenance prescriptions from local pharmacies to mail order delivery, and may be contacted at (800) 235-4357 or visit the Express Scripts website at www.express-scripts.com.  For questions regarding these changes, please contact Lucy Nelson, Benefits Specialist, at ext. 2889 or lnelson@palomar.edu.

EASE (Employee Assistance Service for Educators):

Palomar College provides the EASE service, free of charge, to all employees and
    their family members.  EASE is a professional, confidential service to help you
    resolve your personal or job-related problems.  EASE specialists are licensed,
    trained therapists who will assess the nature of your problem(s) during one or
    several meetings with you, and assist with brief problem solving if appropriate.  If
    ongoing assistance is necessary, referral options will be discussed with you.  Any
    referral may involve charges which will be your responsibility.  A brochure with
    more detailed information is available in Human Resources.
