Registration Instructions and Class Information
This includes the topical outlines (course overview) as well as the booklists for each semester.

General Instructions:
If you are not currently enrolled at Palomar College, you will need to submit a general application to the college’s Admissions Office in order to receive a registration appointment.  Applications are available on-line at   http://www.palomar.edu  

The current class schedule is also "on-line" at www.palomar.edu in order to register, you must reference the current class schedule to get the appropriate class section numbers.

Registration Instructions for Nursing 118

 All students will do a 5-week pediatric rotation at Kaiser Hospital in San Diego.

  1. Register for one of the clinical labs (CLN) (hospital sites)
  2. Next register for one of the campus labs (LAB)
  3. The PAR system will AUTO enroll you in the  lecture (LEC)

Notes:  Students must be available on clinical days for variable clinical assignments from 7am-8pm.

Decide which Rotation you wish to start with (I, II, or III).  If your first choice is closed, select another.

  1. Register for the clinical lab (CLN) (hospital site)
  2. The PAR system will AUTO enroll you in the  lecture (LAB) 
  3. The PAR system will AUTO enroll you in the  lecture (LEC)
  4. Register for NURSING 203 (Not required for 30-unit Option but recommended)
