NURSING EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

EQUIVALENT PREREQUISITES

Are you enrolled at a local college? Check below for equivalent courses from area colleges.   The department requires at least 4 semester units in each prerequisite science course with a lab component from an accredited college. If Anatomy and Physiology is a combined course then two semesters must be completed (A&P I and A&P II). 

Science prerequisites taken at other Institutions should be evaluated by the Department of Nursing.  Approval of content by the Department does not exempt the 2.5 GPA requirement or the time line restriction.

Check with the colleges to verify the course numbers.
