Dinosaurs & Earth History Laboratory

 The Earth History Lab is designed to be taken concurrently with GEOL 150, Earth History.

It is a hands-on experience wherein the students learn to identify and interpret sedimentary rocks, fossils and geologic maps.

We also learn to work some practical problems in geology.

There is a one-day field trip to examine sedimentary rocks

Pleistocene glaciers of Yosemite (from U.S. Geol. Survey).
