1. Eastern Sierra Field Course

Geology 195. 1 unit of credit.
4 days. General geology of the Sierra Nevada, Owens Valley, Mammoth Lakes area, Yosemite, White-Inyo Mountains, Bodie & Cerro Gordo ghost towns. Roads mixture of paved and gravel.  Many campgrounds and amenities.

2. Death Valley Field Course

Geology 195. 1 unit of credit.
4 days. Usually offered during Spring Break, every few years. Very detailed course on the geology of southern or northern Death Valley.

3. Other Field Trips

      Geology 195. 1-3 units of credit. 4-12 days.
       We are constantly developing new field trips and courses. In the past we have visited         Colorado, Hawaii, the Mojave Desert, Grand Canyon, Northern California and the San Andreas Fault.
