1. Eastern Sierra Field Course

Geology 195. 1 unit of credit.
4 days. General geology of the Sierra Nevada, Owens Valley, Mammoth Lakes area, Yosemite, White-Inyo Mountains, Bodie & Cerro Gordo ghost towns. Roads mixture of paved and gravel. Many campgrounds and amenities.

2. Death Valley Field Course

Geology 195. 1 unit of credit.
4 days. Usually offered during Spring Break, every few years. Very detailed course on the geology of southern Death Valley. Spring Break, March, 2009. Register during Spring, 2009 registration.

3. Other Field Trips

Geology 195. 1-3 units of credit. 4-12 days.
We are constantly developing new field trips and courses. In the past we have visited Colorado, Hawaii, the Mojave Desert, Grand Canyon, Northern California and the San Andreas Fault.
