bullet Houghton Mifflin Student Resource Center Geology Link  From a textbook publisher...it is an open forum for those in the field of geology and those studying it. It was developed to be a research tool for college students.  "The section I particularly liked was entitled 'GeologyLink in the news.'" Also includes virtual field trips!

bullet Alaska Volcano Observatory  Provides information related to volcanic activity in Alaska.  A collaboration of the USGS, Univ. of Alaska, and the Alaska Division of Geological and Geophysical Surveys.
bullet Michigan Tech University Volcanoes Page  Lots of volcano information.  Sections include Volcanic Hazards Mitigation, Central American Volcanoes and Volcanic Humor (cartoons).
