The "Save Me a Spot in College" scholarship contest invites you to create a written word entry, poster or TV ad answering the contest question, "Why should California leaders save you and your peers a spot in college?" To enter the contest, you must be a 6th – 12th grade student.

Within each category, scholarships are awarded at the following levels: $500, $1000, and $2500. This scholarship contest provides Middle and High School students with an opportunity to learn about college, promote the value of college participation, and ensure that California provides a spot for every student who seeks it.
