- Can I use the Palomar College pool as part of my
Fitness Center
membership?

Pool use is
avaliable to those enrolled in a swim class.

- Whats the difference between becoming a member or using
the facility as a student?
|
Membership includes use of the showers,towel
usage, locker
rooms, intersession, some holidays and unlimited weekly use.

- Can I put my membership on hold?
|
Yes, All
persons with 3 or 12 month memberships may freeze their memberships
for a minimum of one month. Fill-out a Freeze Form at the Fitness
Center front desk.

- Is the Fitness Center open during intersession,
holidays and weekends?
|
Yes. The Fitness Center is open during some Palomar College holidays and
intercession. Holiday hours/closures are posted in advance.
|
- Does the Fitness Center offer exercise instruction and
follow-up appointments?
|
Yes. There is a certified instructor on the
Fitness Center floor, during most hours of operation, available to answer any
questions you may have, any assistance with the equipment, or a
workout program.

- Does the Fitness Center offer group, family or
corporate memberships?
|
All groups of ten or more may join the
Fitness Center for a minimum of one month at a rate of $10.00/person
per month. Contact the coordinator for more details.

The Fitness
Center has it's own parking lot for members that
are not current students, faculty or staff of Palomar College. We offer six-month or
monthly permits. Or, members may park in visitor's parking with a
visitor pass.

|
Yes. All
residents (18 and older) of San Diego County receive three free
visits each calendar year. After these three visits persons have
the option of becoming a member, purchasing a 10 Day Pass, or
paying $5 for a Day Pass.
