Instructor Rita Campo Griggs has more than twenty years of experience in the fashion industry. Rita is a graduate of San Diego State University. She has worked as a Visual Merchandise Director, a Corporate Fashion Stylist, and a Marketing Director. She has orchestrated hundreds of fashion shows for brand name designers such as Bill Blass, Liz Claiborne, and Calvin Klein. She combines her industry and academic expertise to give her students a memorable and practical learning experience. She is also currently the Tech-Prep Coordinator for Palomar College creating articulation agreements with all the area high schools to come to Palomar College when they complete their high school education.  Rita has been a part of the faculty at Palomar College for 15 years as she has continued to work in the industry. She teaches Visual Merchandising I & II, Retail and Promotion, Fashion Analysis, and the Fashion Show Presentation class.
