Monti Ladd began teaching at Palomar College in
1991. She has worked in Los Angeles as a pattern maker, designer and
a fit model. Monti enjoys gardening and travel and is an accomplished
artist. Monti has her own business, Murals by Monti, and paints
extraordinary pieces of art for the interior design industry. Monti
graduated from Daytona Beach Community College in Florida with a
degree in Fashion Merchandising and then went on to University of
North Dakota where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fashion
Design. Currently Monti teaches the Advance Patternmaking class,
Knitwear Workshop, and the Design Collection class. Original student
designs from all of these classes can be seen in our annual Moda
Fashion Show in the spring.
