  •  AARP Foundation Women's Scholarship Program, $500- $800.
    Scholarship is open to low-income women 40+. Priority given to women who are in one of three categories:
    • 1. Raising the children of another family member
    • 2. Those in dead end jobs
    • 3. Those who have been out of the paid workforce for an extended period

  • Talbots Scholarship
    Applications are available online at https://www.scholarshipamerica.org/talbotswomen starting Monday, October 5, 2009.
    Only the first 5,000 eligible applications received will be processed. Applicants to the 2010 Talbots Scholarship Foundation must:
    • Be women currently residing in the US or Canada

    • Be women who have earned a high school diploma or their GED on or before September 2000

    • Be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full- or part-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited 2- or 4-year college, university or vocational-technical school

    • Be attending the full 2010-11 academic year and receiving a degree no earlier than May 2011

    • Have at least two semesters (24 credit hours or more) remaining to complete an undergraduate degree as of the beginning of the 2010 fall academic term.
