Frequently Asked Questions -
What about flexible scheduling classes?
Flexible Scheduling classes known as Intersession, Fast Track,
Late Start, Self Paced, Saturday Only, and Week-end College can impact your
Award Amount and Disbursement Dates.
If 51% of units enrolled are not 17 weeks in length
(published/traditional semester), your award amount will be prorated or the
courses may not be payable.
If any course occurs at least 51% outside of the
published/traditional semester, then the course is NOT payable.
See the Add/Drop Deadlines page in the current class schedule
for semester dates.
Federal regulations require that enrollment in courses that are
different than the traditional semester must be adjusted under specific award
disbursement formulas established by the U.S. Department of Education.
Further, award disbursements cannot be made until AFTER the first week
the course begins.
