Important Information Regarding Flexible Scheduling Classes

Flexible Scheduling classes known as Intersession, Fast Track, Late Start, Self Paced, Saturday Only, and Week-end College can impact your Award Amount and Disbursement Dates.

If 51% of units enrolled are not 17 weeks in length (published/traditional semester), your award amount will be prorated or the courses may not be payable.

If any course occurs at least 51% outside of the published/traditional semester, then the course is NOT payable.

The published/traditional semesters for the 2004/2005 school year is:

        Fall 2004:      8/23/2004 to 12/18/2004

        Spring 2005:  1/18/2005 to 5/20/2005

Federal regulations require that enrollment in courses that are different than the traditional semester must be adjusted under specific award disbursement formulas established by the U.S. Department of Education.  Further, award disbursements cannot be made until AFTER the first week the course begins.
