June 26:
Assume you have $10,000 to invest in the stock market. You are to pick from one to three stocks from either the New York Stock Exchange or the NASDAQ. Look in the newspaper to select your stock(s) and write down the exact price as it is listed for that particular day. Note the date you made your particular selection(s). Also, assume you are to purchase your stock over the internet and the commission for each stock purchased is $15. This must be included in the total price of your stock.. Your expenditure cannot exceed the $10,000 so get as close as you can to that number without going over it. This must be done by the class meeting on July 3rd. I will hand out a chart for you to track the stock on a weekly basis to determine if the stock is gaining or losing value
