Mathline Video Help

How to Play the Videos

Video files are made available here in two formats: Windows media format, and Real media format. To play them, you will need the Windows media player ver. 7 or above, or the Real Player, version 8 or above. The current versions of the Windows media player and the Real media player will work fine. If you do not have one of these player, you can obtain them free by clicking one of the following links.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmedia/download
You will note that video links are supplied for both "broadband" and "modem" speeds. Choose the broadband link if you are on campus (or another college campus), or have DSL or cable modem access to the Internet, such as through Cox, Southwest or Daniels cable services. Choose the modem link if you are accessing the Internet over a 56K dial-up modem. Modem speeds require that the video picture be smaller and of a lesser quality than can be achieved at broadband speeds.
Help is Available

Before contacting us for help, try using the video version supplied for both video players.  At times, one video server is quite busy and cannot immediately service your request.  Trying the other format may work.

If you have obtained and installed the appropriate media players, but are having trouble, try one of the following links for help:
