Spring '09 Continuing Student Orientation

 

You MAY be eligible for EOP&S if you:

1. Are a California resident

2. Have completed less than 70 degree applicable college units

3. Are a full-time student (12 or more units in the fall or spring semester(s), 6 or more units in the summer).  Students in DRC may be enrolled in less than 12 units each semester.  Students in the Nursing Program may be enrolled in 9 units.

4. Qualify for the Board of Governors Enrollment Fee Waiver Method "A", "B" or "B Zero EFC". The "B Zero EFC" Method requires the student to have an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) of 0.

And you meet one of the following:

bulletAfter taking Palomars' assessment test, placement recommendations were either English 10 or 50, Math 10, 15, or 50 or Reading 30 or 50  or ESL
bulletNo high school diploma or G.E.D.
bulletHigh school GPA was below 2.5
bulletPreviously enrolled in remedial education
bulletFirst generation college student (neither parent has a 4-year college degree)
bulletParents not native English speakers
