If there’s ten tons of love

To each ounce of earth,

Who’ll rule the measure to

Determine our worth?

To me it’s the feel,

Of knowing how real,

The lusting of food

Despite hunger for meal.

If the earth turned to darkness,

And your day was then done,

Whose light would you turn to,

As I run with the sun?
