The EME Department offers EMT and Paramedic programs as well as the supporting prerequisites. Our programs are approved by the following agencies:

The application periof for the August 2014 Paramedic Program (Class 45) is now closed. EME will be offering a CPR (BLS for Healthcare Provider) course on April 10 at 6:00pm. Remembet that you must complete the online portion of the course prior to attending the course. Visit the AHA web site for details.
EME will be encouraging all students to begin a portfolio of your educational, work and ride-along experiences. This portfolio will be used to more accurately see where students are in preparation for paramedic school. At some point, this will become mandatory at Palomar College for entrance into the paramedic program and will begin with EMT experience. The form can be found under the FORMS tab to the right.
