Departmental Meeting Participation and Voting Policy for Adjunct Instructors

In an effort to address the participation and voting rights of adjunct faculty in the Earth Sciences Department, the department has adopted the following as an Earth Sciences Department policy:

The Earth Sciences Department will notify Earth Sciences adjunct faculty about official departmental meetings and encourages all Earth Sciences adjunct faculty to attend those meetings. Adjunct faculty will, after teaching six courses in the Earth Sciences Department, have a vote at general departmental meetings proportionate to their current teaching load within the department.
