Palomar College from SPACE!

The first image is a near-vertical, color infrared photograph of a portion of San Diego County taken from 144 nautical miles above the earth on October 27, 1995.  The dark area on the left side of the photograph is the Pacific Ocean.  The light gray line running roughly north and south through the center of the image is Interstate 15.  The location of Palomar College (Lat 33°8' N  Long 117°11' W) is marked with a black square.
