This course covers elements of weather including temperature, moisture, atmospheric pressure, and the general circulation of the atmosphere. Air masses and storms such as hurricanes and tornadoes are studied and their geographical distribution explored. | |

Practical applications in the use of weather instruments, the reading and interpretation of weather maps and climatological data, and forecasting techniques are included. | |
