The Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with Disabilities is a program designed to refer students with disabilities for internships within federal and private sector worksites throughout the United States. This is not a job placement program

What is an internship?
An internship is a structured and supervised professional experience, closely affiliated with an academic discipline. An internship differs from an independent study or research project, which is not supervised by both academic and worksite personnel.

Will I receive pay for my work as an intern?
Yes, salaries are paid by the employer.

Is there a minimum GPA required to participate in the program?
The minimum overall GPA is 3.0

Do I have to have a declared major?
Yes

What is the time frame for the process?

Fall Screening occurs for appropriate student applicants
January Orientation
February Interviews
March - June Internship offers occur

If selected, summer internships usually run from June to August.
