How do I apply?


Qualifications for Application to Program:

1. Minimum age of 18 years.

2. Attend an RDA Program Orientation.

3. Enroll in Palomar College.

4. Submit a completed Palomar College Dental Assisting Application for Admission.

5.  Submit proof of completion of or eligibility for Eng. 50 or Eng. 100 or ESL 103 .

6. Submit proof of high school graduation (sealed official transcripts only) or GED.

7. Submit sealed official college transcripts.  (Excluding Palomar College

8. Applicant must have a minimum grade point of 2.0.

9. Applicants must have good vision, hearing, ability to communicate orally, to comprehend and to interpret written information. They must also have dexterity to use small dental instruments.

Once the above is submitted and accepted, application acceptance is on a first come first serve basis.

After application is accepted, applicants will receive a letter requesting submission of:

1. Completed medical, dental and immunization forms.

When all medical, dental and immunization requirements are met, students will receive a letter of acceptance to the RDA Program at Palomar College.

*All applications and supportive paperwork must be submitted in a sealed envelope with name, address and phone number of outside.
