Dear Early Acceptance Program Participant:

We are very excited about our EAP Program!  All members of the class of 2012 are invited ot be part of this special program.

Requirements for all EAP students:

1.  After January 3, 2012 apply to Palomar College and get a Palomar ID number. If you have attended Palomar College previously, you will need to reapply and update your application.

 

2.  HIGH SCHOOLS WHERE WE WILL BE CONDUCTING THE ASSESSMENT AT THE HIGH SCHOOLS:  If you attend one of the following high schools, please find out our testing date from your Career Center or Counseling Center and sign up to participate:  Del Norte, El Camino, Escondido, Fallbrook, Mission Hills, Mt Carmel, Oceanside, Orange Glen, Poway, Ramona, Rancho Buena Vista, Rancho Bernardo, San Marcos, San Pasqual, Valley Center, Vista, Westview.  Dates will also be posted on the assessment website:  http://www.palomar.edu/counseling/assessment.

 

OTHER HIGH SCHOOLS: If you are attending a smaller school you will need to come to Palomar College in February, March or April to take the assessment there. Check in you high school Counseling Center to see if your counselor is bringing you to Palomar to take the assessment.   We will have special appointments for EAP students in February and March. Check the Assessment website in January to find these dates:  http://www.palomar.edu/counseling/assessment.

 

3.  After taking your assessment you will need to make a Saturday appointment with a counselor in March, April or May.  Information about making this appointment will be given to you at your assessment session.

 

4.  If you will not be eighteen years of age by August 20, 2012, you will need to submit your K-12 form to Palomar College Admissions prior to June 1st.  You may get this form from your high school counseling office or click here to print this form.  If the form has not been submitted, you will be blocked from registering for your fall classes.

DEADLINE TO TAKE THE ASSESSMENT TO QUALIFY FOR EAP:  April 30, 2012

We look forward to seeing you at this important event.  To qualify for priority registration, you must complete your assessment and meet with a Palomar counselor.
