Palomar College Career Center

General Information

The Career Center is located in the Student Services Building (SSC) within the Counseling Department. Staff are Available from 7:30am to 7:00pm, Monday - Thursday, and 7:30 am to 4:00pm on Friday. Career resources include an up-to-date computer lab with Internet access, career search databases, career library, and job search tools.

The career center offers a one (1) unit Career Counseling Class (COUN-165). This class is called "Career Search'" and it'll help to identify your transferable work skills and values, it'll help you discover career areas that match your personality type and interests, it'll help you research occupations and you'll learn how to use the Internet as a Career research tool. Additionally an Online Resume Tutorial resume program is available to assist you with writing a resume.

The Career Center staff is ready to assist you with your career and educational needs. Individual career counseling appointments are also available. Palomar College does offer limited Career Services at the Escondido Center Center. Click on this link to get the information for the Escondido Center.

Additionally, Palomar College is a partner in the North County Inland Career Center, located at 463 N. Midway in Escondido. The North County Inland Career Center provides offers "FREE" assistance with job search and career planning. They can be reached at (760) 871-1962.
