10 Steps For Enrolling

Step 7 - REGISTER FOR CLASSES

Go to www.palomar.edu and click on eServices. Login and then click on the Student Center link. Look for the Add/Drop Classes link to begin enrolling in classes. You will need to enter the 5-digit course number. Make sure to click on Finish Enrolling to complete the enrollment process.  Look for the green boxes as cues for what to click on next.  Checkout the Registration Instructions for step by step directions with diagrams.

Again, keep in mind the class location and flexible scheduling class.  Checkout the Add/Drop deadlines for Spring 2009.  For additional information about class schedules, locations, and a guide to using the class schedule, go to the Admissions web site or call (760) 744-1150 x2164.

Open Classes
Open classes may be added to your schedule before the start day of the class all the way through the first week of class without permission from the instructor.  After that, instructor permission is required.

Waitlisted classes
Waitlisted classes have met the enrollment capacity but have waitlists  for students who wish to wait for enrolled students to drop the course.  Waitlisted students will automatically move up the list.  During the first day of class, waitlisted students may be amongst the first to be added to the class.

Closed classes
Closed Classes have met the enrollment capacity for the class and the waitlist.  Some classes have no waitlists.  Crashers may be added during the first week of classes.

Holds
Holds must be cleared prior to registration.  For Academic Probation holds, contact the Counseling Department (760) 891-7511.  For Academic Dismissal holds, contact the Evaluations Office (760) 744-1150 x2165.  For hold payments, contact the Cashier's Office (760) 744-1150 x2114.  For all other holds, go to Admissions.
