Steps to Enroll in Classes
A Checklist for New and Returning Students

  1. Apply to Palomar College
    Apply or update your application online.
  2. Financial Aid
    Apply for financial aid through FAFSA.
  3. Assessment
    Complete the assessment for English and math, advisement, and orientation
  4. Transcripts and scores
    Submit all college transcripts, AP, IB, CLEP
  5. Counseling
    Meet with a Palomar counselor and create an ed plan
  6. Create your schedule
    Search for classes online or by using the college schedule
  7. Register for classes
    Use eServices to enroll in classes
  8. Pay tuition and fees
    Tuition and fees are due at the time of registration
  9. Purchase textbooks
    Refer to the campus bookstore to determine what books are required for class
  10. Seek additional support services
    Utilize services such as tutoring, writing labs, student clubs and more.
