Special Event Assistant:
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with critical thinking skills, aptitude for computer software, general technology and previous office experience. Description of Position:

Definition and Purpose

Under the supervision of the Director, Enrichment Coordinator and faculty of Heritage Digital Academy, Enrichment Education Interns will support the academic and social development of middle school students through teaching an enrichment class (art, drama, athletics, etc.) on Wednesdays 12:30-2:30, tutoring students in the afternoons and organizing enriching experiences for students and their families.

- Tutor students a couple days a week between 2:30p-4:30p
- Advise a student club during lunch
- Organize a student and family enrichment night
- Other tasks assigned by the coordinator and faculty
- Meet with Enrichment Coordinator once a week

Period of Employment

Before employment begins intern must be fingerprinted and TB tested. Employment with this organization is of an "at will" nature, which means that the intern may resign at any time with two weeks notice or the Heritage Digital Academy may immediately discharge the employee at any time with or without cause.  Furthermore, this position will terminate on December 16 with the option to renew internship for the next semester. 

Compensation and Hours

- Intern must be available to work a minimum of 7 hours per week during normal operating hours of Heritage Digital Academy. The intern’s schedule is somewhat flexible and will be determined Director and Enrichment Coordinator.
