Lisa Kozenko, a critically acclaimed oboist, performs throughout North America and Europe as a soloist and chamber artist. She has appeared as a concerto soloist with the Nova Filarmonia of Portugal, the National Orchestra of New York, the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico and the Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra. She is principal oboist of the New York City Opera National Company and the Third prizewinner of the 2001 Louise D. McMahon International Music Competition. She is a member of the Manhattan Wind Quintet, finalists in the 1994 Walter W. Naumburg Foundation Chamber Music Competition. In 1997 she received the Chamber Music America Heidi Castleman Award for excellence in chamber music teaching. Ms. Kozenko has recorded on the Digital Concerto and Centaur labels. Her teachers have included Hansjorg Schellenberger, Maurice Bourgue and Robert Bloom. Ms. Kozenko has been a Visiting Assistant Professor of Oboe at Oklahoma State University, a faculty member of the Bowdoin Summer Music Festival and is currently on the faculty of the Stony Brook Summer Music Festival and a teaching artist for Lincoln Center Institute. In 2003 Ms. Kozenko was appointed to the faculty of Central Michigan University.

Dana Burnett is a solo pianist and collaborative artist and has been featured with the Eastern Philharmonic, North Carolina, Virginia and Nashville Symphony Orchestra and Chamber Orchestras. Dana Burnett has been on the faculty of UNC-Chapel-Hill, the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside. For thirteen seasons she was on the faculty of the Eastern Music Festival in North Carolina, and chair of their piano department. Her teachers have included John Ogdon, Michel Block and Alfred Kanwisher. She has been a collaborative artist at many music festivals including Skaneateles and the Virginia Waterfront Festival. She is a prizewinner in many competitions including the Portland Maine Symphony, Birmingham Alabama Symphony, the Young Artist Awards at Michigan State, and the San Diego and La Jolla Symphony Young Artist competitions. Ms. Burnett was awarded the Alban Berg Fellowship to study at the Franz Schubert Institute in Austria, and received an Artist Diploma and accompanying prize from that Institution.

Lisa Kozenko and Dana Burnett have collaborated together in recital and chamber music performances for over a decade. In 1993 Lisa Kozenko presented her Carnegie Hall debut in Weill Recital Hall assisted by Dana Burnett. Together they were members of the award winning Hancock Chamber Players of Philadelphia. As members of this group they were the ensemble in residence at the Fleisher Art Memorial of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Their compact disc recording on the Arabesque label of Doubles by Judith Lang Zaimont was recently named to Chamber Music America’s Century List of recordings. They have performed world premieres of many works including those by Jean-Michel Damase, Richard Wernick, Maurice Wright, Warren Wernick and the last chamber work of Stephen Albert.

Together they have been artists in residence at the University of Wisconsin, Southern Illinois University, Harcum College PA and Vanderbilt University. In 2001 the National Orchestral Association of New York sponsored their residency at Utah Valley State College and Sundance.Their numerous commissions and educational outreach projects have been supported by the Aaron Copland Fund for New Music, the Minnesota Composers Forum, the Philadelphia Musical Fund Society, Pennsylvania Arts Council and the Wentz Foundation.
