The Concert Hour
is a music enrichment series presented for our students and the community
by the Palomar College Performing Arts Department. Most programs take
place in the Newly Renovated
Performance Lab
(Room D-10) in the Performing Arts classroom complex on the south side our
main campus, San Marcos, California. Doors open at 12:20, with seating on
a first-come first-served basis. The program begins at 12:30 and ends at
1:20. Late arrivals are seated during a performance pause as long as seats
are available. There is no charge for admission.
For those
attending in person, campus police
can provide patrons coming from off campus with guest parking passes and
give directions to legal parking areas. Patrons are urged to allow
sufficient time to secure parking and reach the Performance Lab before the
concert begins. For more information, call the performing arts
department at (760) 744-1150 ext. 2316.
For those who cannot attend, the concert hour is streamed
live on Internet.
The Windows media player is required. The live stream commences
about 15 minutes before performance time. There will also be a
rebroadcast Thursday evening @ 6pm on Palomar College Comet radio KKSM 1320AM. Certain performances will
be archived here throughout the course of this semester.
