Role
The Safety and Security Committee examines the operation of the College with respect to safety and security. Areas considered by the Committee are: safety manual, periodic safety inspections, general safety of facilities, inspection of hazardous materials and equipment, designation of dangerous areas, general laboratory safety, and all matters concerning risk management.

Products
SP198 requires all California employers to establish and maintain effective injury and illness prevention programs. These must be written and include elements of California Labor Code Section 10.6401.7
