Child Development Training Consortium

The Child Development Training Consortium assists by reimbursing students for classes taken at Palomar College.  Students must be working in a licensed child care facility or home day care in order to qualify.  Information about the program is passed out every semester in Child Development classes.  Instructors should pass out the information within the first two weeks of class.  Applications can also be found in classroom A-18 or outside my office ST-32.  If you have any questions please call me at extension 2208.   Remember, you can qualify for reimbursement even if you are only taking GE classes (PE and Cooperative Education classes can not be reimbursed).

For additional information, please visit the Child Development Training Consortium (CDTC) web site:  www.childdevelopment.org

Participant Profiles are Due in mid- September for the Fall semester and mid-February for the spring semester.  Please contact Diane for specific dates for each semester.  Currently, there are not enough funds for summer school, so only fall and spring students will be reimbursed.

Participant Profiles (applications for the program) are not available through this website.  Please contact Diane Studinka for more information.  More information on qualifications for the program are listed in the following document:  Participant Profile Information

Please contact Diane Studinka at dstudinka@palomar.edu or extension 2208 with questions.
