Palomar College Mentor Program

The Palomar College Mentor Program selects Mentor Teachers and Director Mentors from community programs. These mentors can serve as a guide to early childhood professionals learning to be teachers or directors.

If you would like to be a protege and learn from a Mentor Teacher or Director Mentor, please contact Bob Sasse at bsasse@palomar.edu or 760-744-1150, ext. 2856.

The first step to becoming a protege is registering for CHDV 195 at Palomar College. This is the internship course for Child Development at Palomar College. Please visit Palomar's online registration site or contact Bob Sasse for more information.

THE PALOMAR COLLEGE MENTOR PROGRAM

Director Seminars:

The Palomar College Mentor Program has meetings for administrators of early childhood programs throughout the year. These meetings are open to the community. Please contact Bob Sasse (bsasse@palomar.edu)  if you are interested in being on an email list to be notified about these Director Seminars.

Mentor Seminars:

In addition to being eligible to mentor student interns, Mentor Teachers also meet monthly and engage in professional growth throughout the year.
