Teacher
$15.9989 - $17.6598 Per Hour (w/AA degree)
$ 16.9358 - $18.6940 Per Hour (w/ BA degree)Education, Experience and Training: At least an Associate’s Degree in Child Development/Early Childhood Education or related field and a Child Development Teacher Permit; one year or more experience paid or volunteer in a child development pre-school setting. Must be computer literate.

Associate Teacher  
$11.5413 - $12.7395 Per Hour
Education, Experience and Training: At least twelve (12) units of Early Childhood Education/Child Development including Associate Teacher permit. Fifty (50) days of experience in a childcare education program working at least three hours per day within the last two years.

Assistant Teacher  
$10.9852 - $12.1256 Per Hour
Education, Training and Experience: At least six (6) units of Early Childhood Education or Child Development and a current Teacher Assistant Permit.

Branch/Location: Palomar Family YMCA/Escondido

BASIC ASSIGNMENT:  Responsible for the overall management of two title 5 licensed child development programs. Provide general administrative office support such as clerical duties and updating/maintaining program files. Coordinate and oversee management and supervision of children between the ages of 5 to 12 and all staff at both sites.  Assist child care director in the management of all licensed child care programs as needed.  Must be highly dependable and be willing to fulfill the job responsibilities in accordance with program goals, grant requirements and YMCA of San Diego County Child Development Program Standards. Reports to the Childcare Program Director, working as an active member of the Palomar Family YMCA branch management staff team.

WHO:  MOPS Group at the Church at Rancho Bernardo.  MOPS recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are foundational in a mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs.  MOPS helps moms through relationships established in the context of local groups that provide a caring atmosphere for today's mother of young children.  We currently have children ages 6 months to 3 years old in our group and are looking for individuals with child development experience to care for the children while mothers are meeting.
