Local Profile

Local 4522 represents non-supervisory classified staff at Palomar College in San Marcos, California. Classified staff includes secretaries, instructional assistants, groundskeepers, computer programmers, and many other support positions.

We are affiliated with the California Federation of Teachers, the American Federation of Teachers, and the American Federation of Labor-Congress of Industrial Organizations.

The Council of Classified Employees is governed locally by an Executive Council who serve staggered two-year terms beginning July 1st.
