Answer: Palomar College CalWORKs Program serves
parents who are attending school as part of their
welfare-to-work plan with the county.
Question: What does REACH
mean?
Answer: It is what we call our CalWORKs
program. Our
motto is REACH
for your goals, REACH
for everything that is available to help you and
REACH out to help
someone else.
Question: What are the eligibility requirements for
REACH/CalWORKs?
Answer:

You must be a current CalWORKs recipient or have
received aid within the last two years and are
working at least part time.

You must be, or plan to be, at least a part-time
student.

You must be working towards at least one of the
following: Certificate, AA degree, transfer to a 4
year university or to improve work skills.
-
No High School Diploma or GED is required for
enrollment in most programs.

Answer: Our office is co-located with EOP&S in
Building TCA on the North end of the San Marcos Campus.

8:00am - 5:00pm
Tuesday: 8:00am - 7:00pm
Wednesday: 8:00am - 7:00pm

8:00am - 5:00pm
