parents who are attending school as part of their
welfare-to-work plan with the county.

REACH is the name
of our CalWORKs
program. Our
motto is REACH
for your goals, REACH
for everything that is available to help you and
REACH out to help
someone else.
Question: What are the eligibility requirements for
REACH/CalWORKs?
Answer:

You (not just your children)
must be a current CalWORKs recipient or have
received aid within the last two years and are
working at least part time.

You must be, or plan to be, at least a part-time
student.

You must be working towards at least one of the
following: Certificate, AA degree, transfer to a 4
year university or to improve work skills.

A
High School Diploma or GED is NOT
required for
enrollment in most programs.

Answer: Our office is co-located with EOP&S in
Building TCA on the North end of the San Marcos Campus.
