Summer Break Activities
Concerned about where you are going to complete your welfare-to-work participation hours before summer school starts? You will be provided a gas card for each ResCare workshop you attend. To redeem your gas card after attending a workshop visit the CalWORKs office. Attendance and unmet need must be verified before receiving a gas card.

Summer 2012 ITP's
The CalWORKs continuing student online orientation is required for all CalWORKs continuing students that are enrolled in summer classes. Go to the Orientation tab to complete & submit the online orientation.

to complete your Summer ITP! Please call 760-744-1150 ext. 2449 to
schedule your appointment.
Disqualified
If
you have been disqualified from the CalWORKs program and you
plan on attending Summer session, you will need to complete
and submit a Summer Disqualification Review Form for
reinstatement.
If
you are an EOPS and
CalWORKs participant and you have been
disqualified from both programs, you will need to submit
two
separate Summer Disqualification Review Forms.

No Show Policy
CalWORKs students that have 1 "No Show" appointment in one semester will be disqualified from the program. The student has the right to Petition. To avoid a "No Show", please mark your calendar or set your cell phone to remind yourself of your appointment. Not receiving a computerized courtesy call is not a valid excuse for missing an appointment.
