BENEFITS of the CalWORKs/REACH program include:

for the County to pay for books, child care, parking
and other essentials
- Help with Financial Aid (FAFSA) and fee waiver (BOGW)
applications.

Counseling so that you know
which classes to take and how to navigate the system

PRIORITY REGISTRATION.... This means
that you can register the day before most students.
You will always get the classes that you want, when
you want to take them!

Student success workshops and retention
activities

Work Study* job development and placement
either on or off campus

A network of fellow CalWORKs recipients (250+
students) that understand where you are coming from
and what you face daily in order to reach your goal
of self sufficiency
*Work Study earnings do not count as income against your
