The scope of this project includes: Interior renovations,
demo and abatement, concrete and masonry, structural steel with miscellaneous metals, millwork/casework,
roofing, general trades, storefront entrance, flooring/ceramic tile, painting, fire protection, plumbing,
HVAC, electrical and low voltage, and earthwork with AC paving, site concrete, landscaping and underground
utilities. The District has obtained the construction permit from the California Division of the State
Architect. |
| Pre-Qualification Status: |
Invited bidders must have
been pre-qualified in order to submit a bid, except for bid packages 11 Ceramic Tile, 17 Fire Protection,
19 HVAC. Submitting a bid without being pre-qualified will consider the bid unresponsive. Preview
pre-qualification list. Note: The prequalification of contractors is specific for this project and not
inclusive of the District’s standard prequalification procedures.

Mandatory Conference/ Walkthrough: |
A
MANDATORY pre-bid conference shall be held on September
12 2012 @ 1:00 PM and September 17, 2012 @ 1:00 PM. Only
attendance at one of the pre-bid conference is
mandatory. The conference shall be held a the Palomar
College Escondido Education Center located at 1951 East
Valley Parkway, Escondido, CA 92027.
